The two Central Asian cities I am going to compare and contrast is Bangkok, Thailand and New Delhi, India. Bangkok is a very large city and on Google Maps it looks very crowded and that there is a lot of people that live there. There is a lot of roads there too. Bangkok is very green and contains many trees and plants. It has a very tropical climate. Also, it looks like there is a lot of water around it as well. New Delhi is also very large and crowded. There is a lot of building close together. Many people live in New Delhi. It also looks like a very historic place to live. New Delhi also has some green, but Bangkok has much more. New Delhi is tropical but also dry I would say. I believe that people first moved to Bangkok... Not Done Still Need To Finish

I believe that people first moved to Bangkok because Bangkok is beside a river and contains a lot of water. People might of settled there to get a good supply of water. Also, it is very green and has a lot of plants, so they might of located there to get more greens. Also, it looks very beautiful so that also might be why. People might of settled in New Delhi because New Delhi is also close to the river and contains a lot of water. It would be a very place to get water. I would rather live in Bangkok because I love how it is very green and contains water. Also, it is tropical and I love tropical weather, and since it is Thailand's capital and is very crowded, there would be a lot of places to go and visit.

Bangkok is the capital of Thailand. Kabul is the capital of Afghanistan. Bangkok is found on the river delta of the Chao Phraya River, only about 25 miles from the Gulf of Thailand. The climate of Bangkok is hot year round. The temperatures range from 77 F in December to 86 F in April. The annual rainfall is about 60 inches. The rainy season is from mid May-September. December through February is the dry season. The river surrounds the city to the north, south, and west, while a large swamp surrounds it to the east providing a strategic location in ancient times. Bangkok is in a tropical area with jungles and lush vegetation. However, Kabul is located in a dry, landlocked country. Desserts surround it, and its elevation is much higher due to rugged mountains and plateaus. Due to the mountains, it has varying temperatures. Typically, winters are cold and summers can be as hot as 100+F. Precipitation varies from less than 2 inches annually, to 10 inches. While Bangkok worries about monsoons, Kabul worries about dust storms. Vegetation is much scarcer. I would rather live in Bangkok, although it is much more crowded. I don't really know why ancient people settled in Kabul, maybe because the mountains provided protection. Being closer to the ocean, I think that Bangkok is just a wiser choice for trade and other natural resources such as fish and lumber.
