I think what probably happened to the ancient people of the Indus Valley is a natural disaster of some sort, like maybe an earthquake or a flood, that caused them to either be wiped out, or to move to a new region where resources were plentiful and they could continue living their lives the way they had previously.

Shelbe, great job with your answer. I agree that a natural disaster happened to the people of the Indus Valley. I also agree that it was a flood or and earthquake that caused it to wipe out or to move away. Since there is no signs of weapons or anything, and they were very peaceful I don't believe that it was a war that wiped them out. Do you think that since they didn't involve weapons and where so peaceful that, that might of been the cause of there people to be gone? Good answer. Very well done.
