One of the many lessons that can be learned be learned about our world from African Cats is that you are stronger when you are with others than when you stand alone. This lesson is demonstrated when the other lion, Kali, tries to invade the other lions pride. Fang, the prides' leader, leaves and the lionesses band together and drive Kali off to keep themselves and their cubs alive another day in the dangerous Africa. Another lesson that is learned in the African Cats movie is that a mother will do anything to keep her cubs safe or keep their well being in hand. This lesson is demonstrated many times like when the pride leaves Layla and her cub is forced to stay with her, leaving them exposed to danger. So Layla gathers enough strength and follows the pride to keep her cub safe. She also does anything for her cub like when she leads the attack on Kali even though he is much bigger and much more dangerous. Although they may be animals on a different continent, they show many qualities that resemble a human being.

In the movie African Cats, there are many important lessons to be learned. One of the lessons is a team is stronger than one individual. In the movie, the lioness's fight off the enemy, Kali, as a group and win the battle. Their love for their cubs overpowered their fear for the enemy. Another lesson to be learned is standing your ground is better than backing down. Seeta, the cheetah with the 5 cubs, stands her ground against Kita and his sons for the love of her children. Another lesson to be learned in this movie is you cant always trust who you think you can trust. When his pride needed him most, Fang ran and hide instead of rising and fighting, and in turn Layla is badly injured and the cubs are separated from their mothers. I think the greatest lesson to be learned thou is the lesson that love is a very powerful thing. Many of the cats in this movie risked everything for the ones they loved. That, in my opinion, is the most powerful message not only in the movie, but in life.

I agree with your comment about the lesson that you learned. It was very enlightening, but also something I concur with, anyway. And I loved your last sentence about that being the most powerful message in the film and in life, because I think the vast majority people would risk anything to be with their loved ones. Great answer!

Shelbe, really great answer! I agree with you about the lesson(s), team is stronger than one individual and that love is very powerful that they would risk everything for the ones they loved. I really loved your last sentences about love being the most powerful thing in the movie, and in life. That was a very deep ending. Great job!

In African Cats, there are so many different lessons that are demonstrated. But, the one that stuck out the most was how important family is. Family will protect and stat with you no matter who is, metaphorically, crossing the river. Seeta tried her hardest to stick with her cubs, who were helpless to the predators. She didn't just leave them behind or abandon them when they got lost, she called for them all night. Also, Layla and her cub Mara stuck together because of Layla's injury. Mara wouldn't leave her side even when it looked like the rest of the pride was just leaving them behind. It's sad that just because Layla was weak, the majority of the pride left without her, because "it's more of a burden". I think people could learn a lot about family and the importance of sticking together no matter what, solely from that movie. They fought for each other and they had an unbreakable bond.

I like how you said that the mother would give up on her cubs or laylas daughter wouldnt wouldn't leave her because of her injuries. Why do you think the lions left layla when she was injuried when instead could of stayed and protected her?

I agree that one of the most important lessons learned was the importance of family. Without the protection of family, some of the young wouldn't be able to survive. Even though Layla was injured, she still tried to protect her family with all of the strength that she had. Do you think Layla would have tried to keep up with the pride if Mara had left her behind? Do you think Sita would have been able to save all of her cubs if he had more cheetahs to travel with?

As a pride, the lions were about to be attacked by another pride. Why do you think Fang deserted his pride and do you think it was a good or bad idea?

In the movie African Cats, there are so many different lessons that are shown throughout the movie. The one that was the most interesting to me was how important is family and how family must always stick together and stay together no matter what challenges they may face. The families will do whatever they can to protect you, even if it might risk their own life. This was demonstrated with the cheetah family when the mom cheetah risked her life with the lions and the cheetahs to save her young. Even though she lost her cubs, she called for them all night, and three of them returned to her. Also, Mara stuck with her mother who had an injury, instead of going ahead with the pack and leaving her behind. This demonstrates that families should always stick together. This movie teaches the importance of families and how important it is to stay together, no matter what may happen in the end.

I liked how you said that they would risk their life for others. When Mara stayed with her hurt mother that really demonstrated that.
Many lessons can be learned from the movie, African Cats. One of them is that it is important to stick together or you might find yourself outnumbered in a dangerous situation. Another lesson to be learned from this movie is to never underestimate the strength of a mother when her children are in danger. Another lesson that can be learned from this movie is not to let power go to your head. When someone becomes powerful, they crave more power. Even though Kali had a whole kingdom of his own to rule, it wasnt enough for him and he tried to take over Fang's pride. When fang could not fight him and his sons off, he was forced to back down and that is when the females had to step in and fight off Kali and his sons. The best lesson that can be learned from this movie is that love is the most powerful thing. Love can do anything and stop anything.

There are many lessons to be learned for the movie African Cats, but I think the biggest one is that you are stronger together than you are apart. There was more than one time in the movie when they would gang up and be able to scare predators away. If they would have tried to do that on their own though, they would have been beaten. Another lesson is that a mothers love for their young is very powerful. They would risk their life anytime if it meant saving their young. They are animals but they definitely act like humans. I think that there were many lessons to be learned from this movie, and I am glad we got to watch it.

In the movie African cats I think that they teach us how much family cares about their love ones. And how much the mothers would risk to save their babys life. For example when the loins came to eat the cheetahs baby. Also it shows that you are better together than apart. For example a loin would be better with a gang when another gang is coming. If he was by himself he or she would be defeated

I agree that it teaches us about how much family cares about their loved ones, and how much the mothers care for their cubs. I also agree that you are better together than you are apart, that the lions would be easier defeated if they were alone. Why do you think lions travel in packs, but cheetahs travel by themselves? Good answer Levi. Good job.

There are definetly several lessons that can be learned from the movie African Cats. First of all, family love, especially that of a mother and her young, is maybe the most important lesson learned that can overcome many obstacles. This also includes teamwork, especially shown by the lion pride when the lionesses hunted then banded together against Kali. I think that another lesson showed is that sometimes sacrifice is necessary. Both Sita and Layla taught these lessons when they stood up to Kali and his sons to defend their cubs. In both circumstances, they were able to save their cubs. Anothher lesson that can be taken away, is that we need to chose our friends/allies carefully. Fang, instead of protecting his pride when Kali and one of his on attack, desserted them. Finally, I think that another lesson that can be learned is that if you bully others, then in turn, you will get bullied. This happened when the three cheetah brothers went after Sita's cubs. An elephant then came after them.

I definitely agree that the bond between a mother and her cub is a very important and strong bond. I really like how you explained how the lionesses worked together even though Fang left them. Do you think the lionesses would have fought if Fang would have stayed to protect the pride? Also, why do you think Sita is able to protect herself without anyone else?

There are a lot of lessons that can be learned from the movie African Cats. There is no greater bond than a mother and her cubs. Throughout the movie, the cheetah and the lionesses showed great affection for their cubs. They would do anything to keep them safe. The cheetah risked her life by distracting the hyenas to keep them away from her cubs, but because the cubs didn't stay together after she left to lead the hyenas away, two of them got lost and were not found. Throughout the night, the hyenas came back and took the two lost cubs. Even though she lost a couple of her babies, she still tried to save them by putting her life at risk. The same happened with the lionesses. Layla was very hurt and she could barely walk, but when Kali and his sons came along, she had to protect her cub from being hurt of killed. She put all of her energy into fighting off the lions, and that saved her cub from getting killed or hurt. We can also learn about the different territories. Both of the main lions had territories that they had to protect. Fang had the land on one side of the river, and Kali and his sons had the land on the other side of the river. They both knew what land was whose, so they left each other alone until the river was at a low point. Kali and his sons needed to expand their territory, so they crossed the river when it was low to fight fang for his land. There are many more lessons to be learned from the movie, but these were just a couple of them.

The movie showed that a mother can be very protective of her young and that in times of disaster, she will use her advantages to overcome the enemy. A cheetah will use it's speed to tire the predator if it has a cub around; this way the cheetah will protect it's young and it's territory. If there is no cub, the cheetah has a better chance to run. I also think that there will always be people around you to protect you and watch after you in times of trouble because in the movie, the elephant protected the cheetah's cubs when she was surrounded by male cheetahs. This also shows that there are many conflicts that involve land such as water and food.
